Microsoft has released Service Pack 1 for users of Internet Explorer 5.01. This service pack includes all the security patches that have lately been released. Also, IE's security will be upgraded to 128-bit, the highest possible. A couple of days later, Microsoft released Internet Explorer 5.5; this version adds some features requested by users and builds on the stability of IE 5.01. Both the Service Pack and IE5.5 can be downloaded. However, it's probably more practical to wait until they become available on the cover CD of your favourite computer magazine.
