For the holiday period, web•Wiz has a variety of sites for you to visit. In particular, try out AceHTML to write your web pages; there are some hints for looking after your email while away: and, then, you can relax with a game.
Although there probably won't be another column until the new millenium, there'll be updates posted - just check the Updates section on this page.
New sites will be continually added to web•Directory so use this service when looking for a particular site > Latest update 20-Dec-2000 <.

• web•Directory now contains links to more than 600 of the Wiziest sites. Just click here to look through the categories and then you're just a click away from getting to that site you've been searching for.
• Those of you with a CD-RW drive should check out the EasyCD-DA Extractor program for your digital audio extraction needs. This popular utility extracts from CDs or DVDs to WAV, RAW and MP3 formats.
• Want to add some Flash animations to your site and not spend lots on buying the Flash application? Now it's possible, for no charge, at Flashkit using FLASHTyper. You can generate text effects for Flash and easily include your works of art in your own web pages.
• Rather than just send an ecard to family and friends this Christmas, why not create a movie as a greeting card? Try it at D.Film.com.
• Consumer Alert! Authorities in the U.S.A. and Canada are investigating two bogus sites that were selling PlayStation 2 systems. After purchasing online, customers were not receiving the product within the specified delivery time. The two sites under investigation are PS2StoreUSA.com and PS2StoreCanada.com. You can read the full report at CNET News.
