  Archery (I.A.F.)  
  Athletics (I.A.A.F.)  
  • International Amateur Athletics Federation. Use the performance rankings section of this site to see how the Australian athletes and others are performing in the Northern Hemisphere meetings as they prepare for September. Results of the meetings currently underway in Europe are available. You can use this site to familiarise yourself with the competitors who'll be in Sydney.
  • The Golden League Meetings. The next meeting is at Monaco on August 18, then Brussels on August 25 and the final meeting in Berlin on September 1. Look under Reports for the latest news. The 2000 Top Lists were last updated on August 3 and they're downloadable in text format (350Kb) - scroll to the bottom of the page for the download link.
  • Australian Athletics Federation. Profiles of about 120 Australian athletes are now available. Look through the rankings and note the athletics trials scheduled at Stadium Australia on August 17-19.
  Badminton (I.B.F.)  
  Baseball (I.B.A.)  
  • Federacion Internacional de Beisbol. Look under Latest News for Olympic news. There are some preliminary comments about Haarlem Olympic Week. (Apoligies in advance for not accenting where appropriate in the federation's title).
  Basketball (F.I.B.A.)

  Canoeing (I.C.F.)  
  • The Federation's official site appears to be not "live" at the moment so visit Worldsport.com where you can choose canoeing. Results from the World Championship kayak event are currently being posted here. The I.C.F. site is given as www.datanet.hu/icf_hq/.
  Cycling (I.C.U.)  
  Equestrian (F.E.I.)  
  Fencing (F.I.E.)  
  Gymnastics (F.I.G.)  
  Handball (I.H.F.)  
  • International Handball Federation. The site has Olympic news and for those not familiar with the game, some sections on the A-Z of handball and a guide to the game.
  Hockey (F.I.H.)
